Day 2 : Speaking - 1 Hour (cont..)

To summarize:
Independent Speaking
A single question appears on the screen and is read aloud by the narrator.
Preparation time: 15 seconds
Response time: 45 seconds

Integrated Speaking—Read/Listen/Speak
Test takers read a passage on a given topic and then listen to a speaker talk about the same topic. A question appears on the screen and is read aloud by the narrator.
Preparation time: 30 seconds
Response time: 60 seconds

Integrated Speaking—Listen/Speak
Test takers listen to part of a conversation or lecture. The question asks them to briefly summarize the information from the listening material. For some tasks, the question asks them to summarize the information and express an opinion about it.

How to Answer (Tips that I used in my responses) ..
I had made a list of statements that I would use in my responses for the 'Independent' and 'Integrated' parts of the speaking section.

For the 'Independent' section, I would use terms like:

1. "What I would like to talk about............." - followed by a line on the same.

2. "I personally found ............... enchanting/educating/entertaining because ........"

3. "It was a cherished dream/ambition ......"

4. "What I would have liked to include would be ........ nevertheless there is always a next time."

For the 'Integrated' section, I would use the following format:

Part I: Mention the problem
" The issue in this passage was ...."

Part II: Mention part of passage that conveys the answer
"According to the passage, ...."

Part III: Mention the result
"Therefore, as I understand ...."

Important: Dont mention "personally" here, as far as I understand- all information to solve the issue would be adequately given in the listening/reading part of the paragraph.
